Bedroom 4

A work in progress, we are updating this attic level room for a 4th bedroom for one of our kids. We have painted the ceiling and walls with colors matched and pulled by Robin Bardo from the exterior stone. The gaps in the floors are being filled and the floor will be lightly sanded, and a polyurethane coat applied. Baseboard will be added to a couple of the walls as well. There is evidence of stone behind the plaster on the wall next to the winder staircase that we will likely uncover as Robin did in the dining room during her remodel.

Bruce Saunders; owner of HOMS from 2000 to 2017 describes the room in his historical accounting dated 2016:  The third floor was also a sleeping room, reached by a second set of winders, used more recently by Pete and Roger Brant to get to their third story bedroom. The dormer windows were added later, probably in the early 1800's.
